Estate cleanouts in Oakdale and the 209
Clearing a family home after a loss, or before a move somewhere smaller. Jake works room by room and sets aside anything worth donating, so you're not making every decision on the spot.
Serving Oakdale, Riverbank, Waterford, Hughson, Hickman, Modesto, Ceres, Salida, Empire, Turlock, Escalon and Farmington.
What an estate cleanout covers
A whole house is a lot of decisions. The crew does the carrying so the family can focus on what to keep.
- Whole-house cleanouts, worked room by room.
- Garages, sheds and storage, inside and out.
- Usable furniture and household goods set aside for donation.
How it works
Go through the house first and take what the family wants to keep. Then:
- Text Jake photos of each room and the address.
- You get a price by the cubic yard before anything starts.
- Jake and his crew clear it out. Most jobs are scheduled within a week.
Two free drop-offs worth knowing
Older homes often turn up old paint, chemicals and mattresses. These have their own free options if you have the time:
County household hazardous waste
Stanislaus County's facility on Morgan Rd, Modesto · Fri–Sat 8 to noon · Free, up to 15 gallons or 125 lb per trip. Old paint, pesticides and cleaning chemicals go here.
Modesto mattress drop-off
City of Modesto site, 610 S. Conejo Ave · Thursday to Saturday, 8 to noon · Free, up to 10 mattresses per trip.
When it makes sense to call Jake
When it's a whole house, when the family lives out of town, or when a closing date or lease end sets the deadline. Jake and his crew carry everything out and load it, priced by the cubic yard and usually within the week. What still works goes to donation, and what can't be reused is recycled where possible.
When calling Jake is the wrong call
If it's only a few pieces of furniture, a free bulky pickup from your garbage company may cover it. Paint and chemicals belong at the county hazardous waste facility.
