Construction debris removal in Oakdale and the 209

What's left after a remodel or DIY project: drywall, lumber, tile and old fixtures, hauled away so you don't need to rent a dumpster.

Serving Oakdale, Riverbank, Waterford, Hughson, Hickman, Modesto, Ceres, Salida, Empire, Turlock, Escalon and Farmington.

What Jake hauls

The leftovers from kitchen and bath remodels, flooring jobs and weekend projects.

  • Drywall and plaster.
  • Wood, lumber, metal and old fixtures.
  • Tile, brick, concrete pieces and roofing material.

Why curbside won't take it

Construction debris is shut out of the free bulky pickups across the area:

  • Riverbank, Modesto, Ceres and the county program all exclude construction debris.
  • Riverbank and Waterford cap wood at 10 pieces, and Waterford excludes fencing and treated wood.
  • Hughson allows two sheets of plywood and 10 pieces of wood, none longer than 8 ft.

Hauling it yourself? Here's where it goes

If you have a truck, both nearby transfer stations take mixed debris by weight:

Bertolotti Transfer Station, Ceres

231 Flamingo Dr · (209) 537-4147 · Open Mon–Sat, call for hours. $92 a ton with a $35 minimum.

When it makes sense to call Jake

When it's more than a pickup load, when it's heavy material like tile and concrete, or when you don't want a dumpster sitting in the driveway. Jake and his crew load it, priced by the cubic yard and usually within the week.

When calling Jake is the wrong call

If it's a few boards, check your town's bulky limits first. Older materials that may contain asbestos need testing before anyone hauls them: Fink Road Landfill won't accept friable asbestos.

Checked October 2026 against city, county and operator sources. Rules and rates change, so confirm before you go.
